Born in Sicily, Marcella has been part of the ceramics world since her early age and got her first summer job in a pottery workshop at the age of 14. Mosaicist and deeply passionate about pottery, she has always played an essential role in Pottery Gagliano, often working behind the scenes to help the studio flourish.

As a mother of four, Marcella balanced family life with her work at Pottery Gagliano, and today she is at the heart of its organisation. She oversees the day-to-day operations, curates the studio’s social media presence, and ensures that everything at Pottery Gagliano runs smoothly.

Marcella is a ceramic artist in her own right. She continues to create her own work, with a particular love for designing unique clay jewellery that blends craftsmanship with personal expression.
